Benny Hinn Behind The Scenes March 3, 2008

When a journalist visits a Benny Hinn circus they never quite nail the story properly, mainly because your average church is another world to them let alone the bizarre freak show that is Benny and his entourage. When an inside story is done by an ordained minister it gets a lot more interesting, because these guys know a whole lot more about what is going on.
Rev David Millikan’s escapades at Benny’s Brisbane dollar-harvest provides an insight that sets the hairs on your back up.
Rev Millikan tried to set Benny up with a willing partner in a wheelchair, The partner was not really injured, but only hoping to fake a healing to get close enough to ask Benny a few choice questions. Read the fascinating account here.

These setups - and I did read about David Millican’s escapade serve little purpose. It’s like doing a hidden camera scene on Bin Laden and coming forth with an exclusive proclaimation that he’s got bad things on his mind.
Did any of us need a spurious wheelchair ruse to be persuaded about Benny’s ersatz ways? I certainly didn’t.
It’s so 80’s … Tele-evangelists are a little like American Wrestling … you know it’s fake but some just can’t live without it - it gives them a narcotic that they tragically can’t live without .. yet it prospers.
Sadly, the Millican-esque drollery serves only to state the obvious, and makes me wonder whether the author of the excellent read “The Sunburnt Soul” is lost for new ideas.
Given the Presidential style security, the unwillingness to submit to accountability, given the millions that are made - I’m happy with any attempt to get behind the scenes and expose this man for what he is.
If he made himself available for scrutiny none of these stunts would be needed.
It’s easy to come to an accommodation about this all and let it all slide by - or we can keep the pressure up.

Benny Hinn is just exploiting the power of the holy spirit for his own greed
Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ 23Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’
Perfect example of Benny Hinn
wisdom power
Power is in wisdom be sure to use that for the glory of God
