Contributors

This blog was originally meant to be a collaboration between different contributors who have a stake or at the very least an interest in the future of ministry within Baptist churches. Contributors were meant to be from different countries, states and different states of mind.

However, this lofty goal has failed miserably, and try as I may to find other thinkers to put finger to keyboard, I dash my head against the wall time and time again.  So for the time being, I’m all this blog has!

Since Baptists have yet to discover the digital era a lot of the readers of this site [the majority of whom are silent] are not Baptists.  It’s too late to change the URL so Neo Baptist will have to do.

Gordon - currently serving as a Baptist pastor [I'm not sure how I keep them fooled] and also involved in chaplaincy [I like the uniform]. Has worked in both para-church and local church in Africa, Europe, and Australia. Married with an excessive amount of kids and resides somewhere in QLD, Australia. Interests include sport, web 2.0, coffee [married to a barista], current affairs, gadgets, politics, small business entrepeneurship [you've gotta supplement a pastors salary!], and running.

This site looks really interesting. I’m a Baptist down here in Melbourne and about to start the ordination process. I’m trying to find more Baptist blogs to see what they are saying. Very interesting.

Thanks for dropping by Jon. As part of the new generation of Baptist theological students you have an increasingly complex set of ideas about how to ‘do church’ to grapple with.
Have fun and may you find wisdom! Drop by anytime and comment and forward this URL to other who have a stake in the future development of our churches!

Thanks mate, but my linguistic skills have robbed me of your greetings and salutations. I’m thinking Maori?
If that’s the case can it be that an All Black fan is reading my site?!!!! I will need to adjust my filters!

Thanks for the blogs. It isn’t often one comes across a person who is willing to challenge the established way of doing things openly. I enjoy reading what you have to share, and even gets me thinking too!

Keep it up!

Well bless you! Hopefully I spread more honey than vinegar!
